Square Crosspiece

Crosspiece shaped as crucifix.

The platform is a fountain. Octagonal pedestal, finished with plat band. Crosspiece column is octagonal shaped, with re-fitter quadrangular pedestal.

The capital is cylindrical, astragal circular and flat, abacus, curved sides, bevelled vertexes, volutes, leaves and heads of winged angels.

The cross is circular and ligneous.

DESCRIPTION:

Obverse: Christ crucified with three nails, bending head to the right, pointing with both hands forefingers. Crown with thorns, fineness cloth knotted at right. INRI in parchment.

Reverse: Virgin as praying. Hands crossed over the chest, on a pedestal stand.

Built on granite.
