Baixar Cross

Cross shaped as a Crucifix type.

It has no platform. The pedestal is quadrangular and it is finished with chamfers. The cross column is square with chamfers.

The capital is quadrangular.

The cross is cruciform with a pedestal and ornate arms.

DESCRIPTION:

Obverse: It shows a crucified Christ with three nails. His head is tilted to the right and his hands are open. He is wearing a crown with thorns.

Reverse: Immaculate´s Virgin image with Jesus in the foreground.  

It was built with granite.
